The mechanism
How one click stops the steeping
Tea turns bitter when the leaves keep steeping. In a tea bag or a strainer, they stay in the water. Tea Mood separates leaves and tea the moment you decide.

Leaves in, water on
Put loose tea in the glass chamber at the top and pour hot water over it. The leaves move freely while they steep.

Let it steep
With the button on the handle up, the valve stays closed. Steep for as long as you like.

Click – done
Slide the button down. The valve opens, the tea runs into the pot, the leaves stay up top. Nothing keeps steeping, so the second cup tastes like the first.

Questions before you give it
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Orders placed by 6 December are scheduled to arrive before Christmas, and every parcel comes with tracking.
What if the glass breaks?
If the teapot's glass breaks in the first 100 days, send us a photo and we'll send you a replacement free of charge.
Can a gift be returned?
Yes. The 100-day trial applies to every order, gifts included. Just contact us with the order number. For returns without a defect, return postage is paid by the customer.
500 ml or 900 ml?
The Gift Set comes with the 900 ml teapot – more tea at once, made for sharing. The 500 ml teapot is the compact one. Good to know: the glass chamber holds less than the pot, so for a full pot you brew twice.
How does the click work?
There's a button on the handle. Button up: the valve at the bottom of the glass chamber is closed and the tea steeps. Slide it down: the valve opens, the tea runs into the pot and the leaves stay in the chamber. Tip: make sure the button is up and the chamber sits firmly before you pour in the water.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it under warm water. The glass chamber lifts out and the filter comes out, so the used leaves are gone quickly.
Which tea works?
Any loose-leaf tea – black, green, herbal, fruit or tea blossoms. Very fine tea dust can block the filter, so whole leaves and coarser cuts work best.
Can I use tea bags in it?
Yes, that works too. Put the bag in the glass chamber and click when the tea is ready – no bag to fish out of the cup.
Can I keep the tea warm on a tea warmer or the stove?
Please don't. The teapot isn't made for direct heat from below – the brewing system and the seal can't take it. It doesn't go in the microwave either.
